if i could give 100 stars i would. i joined take 2 creative camp 4 years ago and just recently aged out. this camp has helped me become so much more confident and independent. the employees are all so kind and are super helpful with anything we need. the take 2 director, korisa madayag is especially helpful with providing us anything we need to complete our projects for the summer. the whole point of take 2 creative camp is to help us express ourselves in literally any way we want. ms k is only there to help you and will do anything in her power to provide you with the supplies you need for your project. this camp has helped me with many life skills like responsibility, using my voice, becoming more outgoing, and learning to do things myself. i love that ms k doesn't treat us like toddlers, and she respects us and gives us the freedom to create whatever we want, but she also holds us accountable for making deadlines and following them. these are all very important life skills and ms k helps teach them to us in a respectful and kind way. the YWCA is such a supportive and accepting place to be and all if the staff there are so kind to everyone.

If I could post this review with a 0 star review I would. As a person who accepted the YWCA Take 2 last year and tried going again this year, I totally do NOT recommend this place for your children or teens. Not even the YWCA. Take 2 creative camp isn't a "Summer camp". It's mostly school work and projects. The staff and teens at Take 2 are really disrespectful and rude. I had a big problem last year with one of the staff named Korisa Madayag and teens of Take 2. Last year was my first year of Take 2 and I wasn't sure how the creative camp works. So on the first day I went and Korisa was talking about projects we have to finish on time just like a school. They would take our phones away and put them in a box especially if we weren't using them. Don't they understand that we're going to need our phones for emergencies or for our parents to contact us? It's a summer "program". So me and my friend did a couple of projects that we HAD to TURN IN ON TIME by the staff. I wasn't sure about my project because I felt like I was being forced on. So I tried my best anyways. I took a couple of breaks with my friend and again, Korisa got upset and told us to finish our projects. It was going on
